This larger than normal boning knife is great for for removing bones or skinning meat and poultry. Tendons and fat can also be removed easily with a sure grip.
The boning knife blades is custom cut and then hand ground to perfection from 440c high carbon, stainless steel. This is a tried and true steel, known for edge retention, strength and durability. Blades also have a ricasso area so you can choke up on the knife if needed. The edge of each knife is done in a convex edge that sharpens easily in the field or home. Whether or on a whetstone or flat stone near the river you will never have any trouble keeping the edge.
The unique, 3-layer camo handle is made from a ultra-durable G10 composite material which gives the knife increased strength and a lightweight feel. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaked in epoxy resin, and then compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures. These G10 handles will last for decades even under heavy use in both wet and dry conditions. It will never rust or rot.
The handles are shaped in an easy to grip design so they work from any direction. Upside down, to the side, etc.
Each knife has a lanyard hole at the end of the handle for a leather strap or paracord to attach to a wrist or hang in camp. The pins are constructed in solid 416 steel steel for a clean look that will not cut your cord when rubbing.
