FORLOH Lifetime Warranty

We build FORLOH gear to work hard and last. We stand behind the quality of our American-made products and warrant them against defects in materials and workmanship for the useful lifetime of the product.

A lifetime warranty does not mean a product will last forever, nor does it guarantee replacement after a product has reached the end of its useful life. Normal wear from use in the field is not a manufacturing defect.

If a product fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we’ll evaluate it and, at our discretion, repair it, replace it with the same or a comparable product, or provide another appropriate resolution.

What Is Covered

Examples of manufacturing defects may include:

  • Defective stitching or seams

  • Hardware or components that fail prematurely under normal intended use

  • Material or construction failures determined to be the result of a manufacturing defect

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by FORLOH.

What Is Not Covered

FORLOH gear is designed to be used outdoors, and use leaves its mark. Our warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from normal use or circumstances outside of manufacturing.

This includes:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Products that have reached the end of their useful life through regular use

  • Rips, tears, snags, punctures or abrasion

  • Burns, fire or heat damage

  • Stains, pilling or discoloration

  • Fading from sunlight, washing or use

  • Damage from water, mold, moths or improper storage

  • Accidents or misuse

  • Improper care or laundering

  • Alterations or modifications

  • Natural deterioration of fabrics, coatings, laminations, elastic, insulation or other materials over time

  • Loss of performance resulting from normal aging or use

  • Products purchased secondhand or by anyone other than the original purchaser

  • Products not purchased directly from FORLOH or an authorized FORLOH retailer

A product that has simply been worn out through normal use is not considered defective and is not eligible for warranty replacement.

Insect Shield® Products

The Insect Shield® treatment has a defined performance life and is not warranted for the lifetime of the garment.

The insect-repellent treatment is designed to remain effective for 3 years when the garment is used and cared for according to instructions.

A reduction in insect-repellent performance resulting from normal use, laundering or the passage of time is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Manufacturing defects in the garment itself remain subject to the FORLOH warranty described above.

Warranty Resolution

Warranty coverage does not automatically guarantee a new replacement product.

Depending on the product's age, condition, availability and the nature of the defect, FORLOH may choose to:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product

  • Replace it with a comparable product if the original is no longer available

  • Provide another appropriate resolution

Replacement products do not restart or extend the original product's warranty period.

Starting a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please complete our warranty claim form HERE.

Our Customer Service team will review your claim and provide instructions for next steps. We may request photographs, proof of purchase or the product itself to determine whether the issue qualifies for warranty coverage.

Warranty eligibility is determined after evaluation by FORLOH.

Used Garments

For health and safety reasons, all worn garments submitted for inspection, warranty service or repair must be clean and freshly laundered. Items received in an unsanitary condition may be returned without inspection or service.

Repairs & Non-Warranty Damage

The outdoors can be hard on gear. Falls happen. Branches snag fabric. Campfires get too close.

Damage from use isn't a manufacturing defect, but that doesn't necessarily mean the product is finished.

When possible, we can help connect you with repair options for damage that falls outside our warranty.

Estimated turnaround times:

  • Mail-order repair: 2–4 weeks

  • Laundry service: 1–2 weeks

Estimated repair pricing:

  • Simple repairs: $20–$50 + shipping

  • Detailed repairs: up to $200 + shipping

  • Specialty repairs/modifications: $200+ + shipping

If inspection determines that the issue is a covered manufacturing defect, there will be no charge for the covered warranty service.
