Fabric Weatherproofing Wax Bar
All-natural fabric wax treatment designed to restore water resistance and protect outdoor gear from abrasion, UV exposure, and weather.
- Fewer Better Things. Made for the Work.
- 100% Sourced & Manufactured in USA
- Guaranteed for Life
The Fabric Weatherproofing Wax Bar is designed to extend the life and performance of outdoor gear by restoring water resistance and reinforcing fabric durability. Applied directly to garments and equipment, the wax creates a protective barrier that repels moisture while helping reduce abrasion and environmental wear.
The treatment also helps prevent mold growth and blocks UV degradation, protecting fabrics during extended outdoor exposure. Once applied, the wax dries with a subtle pine scent and can be reapplied periodically to maintain performance.
The wax is safe for use on a wide range of outdoor materials including nylon, polyester, cotton, polypropylene, leather, and suede. It is particularly useful for maintaining waxed ripstop fabrics such as those used in FORLOH’s Brush to Mountain outerwear.

The wax bar is formulated as a natural fabric treatment designed to restore weather protection and improve the durability of outdoor gear. When applied to fabric surfaces, the wax fills small gaps in the textile structure to create a protective barrier that repels water and improves abrasion resistance.
This treatment is particularly effective for maintaining waxed cotton and nylon-cotton ripstop fabrics commonly used in outdoor apparel. Reapplication helps maintain performance over time as exposure to weather and washing gradually reduces protective coatings.
One 5-ounce bar typically treats approximately 20 square feet of heavier outdoor fabrics, making it suitable for maintaining jackets, pants, packs, and other field gear.
All materials are sourced and manufactured in the United States to ensure consistent quality and dependable performance.
